We are guilty of letting ourselves talk ourselves out of the victory that awaits each and everyone of us. Surprise! What is holding you captive, is it resentment in your own life? Forgiveness is divine and is a gift. It is not only a gift to whom receives it, but also to the one who gives it to another.

Only one that is pure of heart will ever be able to truly forgive,but from the first time that we do, we are forever changed for our entire life. No longer are we be blind to the all the pain and suffering in this dying world. The truth is that when you freely give you freely receive.

Time stands still for no but what we do with that time we have now, makes all the difference in how we spend our time later in life. Too many people let their minds wonder into oblivion and toss and turn in circles day after day.

We have all been guilty of holding on to the irrelevant , and negative emotions in our lives. We have all wasted our precious time doing things that we not only regretted later on, but those things that brought about nothing good or fruitful in our lives.

The reason I am writing this is because we all need to hear it, read it, and remember it. Don't get too busy and neglect your inner spirit. Don't let the world steal your inner peace and self worth through the negative things that the world can bring into your mind.

The seven deadly emotions or self based acts, at least the ones I have found to be that way are the following below. Please do your best to stay far away from them, for they will kill you or even worse take you off the path God would have you travel on in your life.

Pridefulness, Slothness, Envy, Gluttony,Lustfulness,Greediness, and last but not least Anger! All of these will put you in a living eternal hell.  All of these are deal stoppers in the pursuit of happiness and true contentment in anyone's life. 

The horrible truth is that nothing ever good comes out of any of these and not only do they have a profound affect on the afflicted, but on anyone and everyone the afflicted come in contact with during their walk through life. 

Kinda like a brush fire, that starts from that one single spark and all of a sudden grows out of control.  That same fire that could have easily been put out in the beginning becomes a raging monster and requires many men to conquer. Now the truth is that it really only takes one man or woman to squash that fire dead in it's tracks before it grows out of  control.

By staying away from the deadly seven, you and I will do just that and live a more fruitful and prosperous life. The first step is admitting that we may have let one or more of them into our lives and quickly kick them back out the door and lock that door for good. You and I are the ones that must make our own choices, and we both must realize that by the choices we make now, will forever shape our futures.

There is no one else to blame but the reflection of ourselves in the mirror. Stop right now fogging your own mirror and lying to yourself and others in your life. You must first admit bad habit, before you will ever quit juggling the seven deadly emotions in your life. You will be much happier as a person when you choose not to feed the deadly seven emotions. Don't worry you will not miss any of them once you kick them out the door.

Unfortunately , there will be someone out there waiting to grab one or all of them and start on their own road of self inflicted misery and grief. What better thing to share with anyone but the plain simple truth of the plagues of the seven deadly emotions. We as men and women are in control if we choose to be in control. God has given dominion over all other creatures in this world. Just as sure as we have been given dominion over other creatures , that same dominion can be taken away from us. For as the scripture goes " The meek shall inherit the Earth"

Today is the day to stop that tossing and turning and to focus on that one thing in your life that you have been neglecting what ever it may be or not be. It is now 2007 another new year. Take time to be thankful that we and our loved ones made it through 2006. Always remember it is the trials that make us stronger as individuals in this world. If we can't be tested then we can't be trusted. For to whom much is given much is expected and just as easily those things that have been given can be taken away.

This year is the time to start believing in yourself and all that you are capable of achieving in your life. You no longer have to play second fiddle , the choice is yours to make now and forever more.

Don't get so caught up in the me me me syndrome that it takes away the see see see syndrome. In other words don't take forgranted those people in your life that really do deserve your attention time and effort. It is in the little acts of kindness that we do that make the difference in the path we take and the results we get out of life.
